Andrea is a kind, attentive, and knowledgeable practitioner working to rekindle an ancient fire once known to all people. A deep reverence and commitment to her practices combines with humor and years of experience to create an incredibly helpful guide along the path to our own sacred nature. From ceremony to integration everything she offers is straight from the heart and layered with loving intention. A true cultural revolutionary, the corrective space that she makes for women at the close of ceremony has forever changed the way I listen to and relate with the feminine spirit. It’s a direct-action subversion of dominator culture that would make Terence McKenna weep tears of hope.

MEET Andrea!

As a result of visions and teachings received under the Divine Feminine lineages of North America, Andrea has birthed “Heart of Ma”. She is committed to playing her part in bringing back the balance for future generations to thrive. From a firm foundation rooted in universal truths and time honored living lineages, we are ushered out of our minds, into our heart/embodied self. Andrea shares rituals, retreats, teachings, and healing therapies as well as hosts various spiritual elders to lead Indigenous ceremonies. Rea affirms the importance of integration, those spaces before and after life changing experiences that are equally as important. Now the real ceremony begins…

For over 20 years, Andrea led and co-led ceremonies as well as weekly song and drum instruction in the Lakota language for 10 consecutive years with Christopher Long and The Singing Stone. She has led, co-led, and supported Vision Quest, Dream Dance, Bear Dance, Yuwipi, Half Moon Ceremonies, Purification lodges, Pipe Ceremonies, and numerous workshops including Song instruction, Ancient Goddess Teachings, and connecting with your Spirit Animal. She has traveled within the U.S. as well as around the globe sharing ceremonies on her own.

As a Medicine Carrier, Andrea Beaubien is committed to following this sacred path in a mature and socially responsible way for the community at large. A Sundancer, she has led and co-led as well as supported by way of song the Vision Quest, Dream Dance, Bear Dance, Yuwipi, Half Moon Ceremony, and Sweat Lodge.

Teachers and mentors on this path include: Aurelio Tekpankalli Diaz, Christopher Long, and others. In 1995 Andrea graduated from Ray College of Design in Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion. She completed her Massage Therapy Certification in integrated healing modalities from the Crestone Healing Arts Center in 2000. She became a Certified Sitter with Psychedelic Cannabis in 2019 at Medicinal Mindfulness in Boulder, Colorado. In 2022 Andrea received permission to guide the eastern practice of yoga nidra meditation by her Tantric Shamanic teacher Sreedevi Bringi.

Andrea Beaubien was ordained under Christopher Long who received his teachings under the guidance of Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan. AURELIO DÍAZ TEKPANKALLI - is a Native Purepecha of Michoacan, México. Chief Aurelio lived in the United States as a young man with his parents, painting and building his career as a renowned artist working with themes related to indigenous people and politics. Most of his work is in Chicago and México City, but his murals also appear in National Geographic and other American magazines. Inspired and trained by his grandfather Purepecha, in search of knowing his ancestors, he has lived on various indigenous reservations, participating in rituals with his elders, and being initiated into various tribes and native nations, he is working to expand the “native recognition” beyond the frontiers of indigenous communities.

What do I do in my free time?

If someone were to ask me what I love to do, the first thing that would come to mind is dancing, singing, and creating without a concern for time. Becoming lost in the flow dreaming up fascinating possibilities is a very happy place for me. I enjoy learning sacred songs, painting with watercolors, watching thought provoking documentaries, divination, reading self help/women’s empowerment books. Anything to do with the Goddess is a deep passion of mine such as exploring natural petroglyphs/pictographs, ancient temples when I travel, or simply creating a manifestation of HER through any chosen medium. I am likely to be found on a hiking trail harvesting plants and appreciating animals of the wild.

I have come to realize the importance of self care. What this means to me is to honor what my body is telling me in each moment while remembering that joy and nurturing is medicine for my body and soul. I restore my temple through nourishing foods, yoga, meditation, fresh air, water therapy, fireside communing, and placing my feet directly on the soil. I would say that I am definitely an eternal child ready to laugh and play much of the time, especially with my two teenage children.

Background

At an early age Andrea expressed an innate talent blending and flowing with colors, textures, and balance of any presented subject. Spending numerous hours playing in the woods of her rural Michigan home, it was natural for her to commune with Spirit through the elements that surrounded her. She enjoyed the freedom of sharing creativity from within through dance, song, art, decorating, and any possible outlets for artistic expression.

Before leaving home Andrea assisted her mother in running a women’s wearable art store. After years of taking on many responsibilities of a family owned business, she went to college to pursue her interests in the field of fashion. The years to follow were spent searching for a deeper understanding and connection beyond the material world. This self-exploration led her to the remote town of Crestone, Colorado. Shortly after she was introduced to new possibilities through the Native American path. As a stay at home mother of two in the pristine mountains of Colorado, Andrea had the space to explore her creative roots while growing her connection to the Great Mystery. Andrea’s dedication to the Divine Feminine has become her life’s purpose.
