Crowned is a women-led, community-inclusive rite of passage honoring the Maga stage of womanhood—the vibrant, sovereign years between Mother and Crone. Having just turned 52, Rayah Marie steps into her second life cycle, marking the completion of a sacred 52-year solar round and embracing her role as a sovereign woman, teacher, and guide.
The weekend will also bless her sabbatical journey away from Crestone—a send-off rooted in gratitude, community, and shared celebration.
Weekend Flow:
Friday Evening begin 6pm (Oct 3): Crowning Ceremony — women-led ritual honoring sovereignty, blessings from elder women, and offerings from all present.
Saturday 1 pm (Oct 4): Gratitude Medicine Sweat Lodge
Saturday Evening: Music, dancing, and community celebration
Sunday (Oct 5): Hike, hot springs soak?, song sharing, laughter
Monday Morning (Oct 6): Fire Ceremony & Feast by Donation at Haidakhandi Universal Ashram under the Harvest Super Moon
All are welcome, though Friday evening is women-led and focused on honoring women’s wisdom. Participants may camp or stay at local Airbnbs.
Sliding scale donations will be shared after registration. Your generosity supports the ceremony and the elder ritual leader, Suzanne Rouge.
